History of The College
Awadhesh Prasad Mahavidyalaya, Nadaul, Masaurhi, Patna, Bihar was established in 1989 at Awadhesh Nagar, Nadaul, Masaurhi. It is 30 Km away from Patna. The main idea behind its establishment was to provide quality education to rural and urban students in order to bridge, the gap between rural & urban students. The college is permanently affiliated of Patliputra University (PPUP), Patna.
The college was started with fourteen subjects of Arts Faculty- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Ancient History (AIAS), Sociology, Psychology, Urdu, Labour and Social Welfare, Home-Science and college was started Science Faculty-Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics Zoology.
The total strength of students in the college is approximately 800. This college is known for its discipline, quality teaching, fair examination and high pass percentage. Several activities are organized in the college for overall development of the students.
